Project Overview
Our inaugural milestone involved comprehensive platform construction and station management across the Eastern Railway network in Katihar. We coordinated heavily with railway authorities to ensure zero disruption to daily transit while fundamentally upgrading the station's physical framework and passenger handling capabilities.
Scope of Work
The Challenge
Executing heavy concrete work, deep evacuations, and structural reinforcements in a highly active transit zone without halting daily train operations or comprising passenger safety.
Our Solution
We deployed rapid-setting concrete batching techniques and staggered operational hours (primarily executing heavy lifting and casting during nocturnal blocks) to seamlessly execute the platform expansions.
Project Impact
Increased the station's passenger handling safely capacity by 40% while modernizing the aesthetic and structural safety parameters of the railway terminal.
