Project Overview

Providing comprehensive Water Supply Scheme to Chincholi, Chittapur, Wadi, Kamalapur, Sedam & Kalagi towns in Kalaburagi District under the Government of India's AMRUT 2.0 mission. Executed through Design, Build, Operation and Transfer (DBOT) mode as a Lumpsum Tender with no variation clause — covering complete water infrastructure design, execution, and long-term operational management for six urban towns.

Scope of Work

End-to-end water supply scheme design for 6 towns: Chincholi, Chittapur, Wadi, Kamalapur, Sedam & Kalagi
Construction of intake structures, water treatment plants and pumping stations
Distribution network pipeline laying across all six urban town jurisdictions
5-year Operation & Maintenance including 1-year Defect Liability Period (DLP)
Transfer of complete water infrastructure to urban local bodies at project close

The Challenge

Designing and simultaneously executing a multi-town integrated water supply network with no variation allowed, requiring absolute precision in cost estimation, engineering design, and seamless coordination across six geographically dispersed urban areas.

Our Solution

Deployed dedicated DBOT specialist teams for each town with a centralized command hub in Kalaburagi, employing advanced GIS-based pipeline route mapping and BIM modeling to eliminate design ambiguity and ensure zero cost overruns under the lumpsum contractual structure.

Project Impact

Delivering 24x7 pressurized safe drinking water to hundreds of thousands of urban residents across six towns under Kalaburagi District, fulfilling the AMRUT 2.0 mandate for universal water coverage.
